About Me

Hello! My name is Celyn and I am 21 years old. Above in the navigation bar you will find links to some of the websites I crafted during my time at DMACC. These are projects that help best represent my current abilities. Currently I am updating my main pages to showcase my evolving front-end skill set, while simutaneously working on my back-end skills over on GitHub.
My passion for coding lies in HTML, Java and SQL. The allure of front-end work is unparalled- being able to witness your creations come to life in real-time is immensely gratifying. While Java holds a special place in my heart; its fluidity allows me to immerse myself for hours on end, often losing track of time effortlessly. Similarly, SQL captivates me with its initially simple interactions that gradually evolve into intricate complexities.
Outside of the digital realm, I usually can be found hanging out with my three cats whom I share with my boyfriend. Whether it's quality time with loved ones, gaming, language acquisition, honing my coding prowess, or indulging in arts and crafts, I relish every moment.Celyn

My Boyfriend

My boyfriend is a huge part of my life and other than my cats the reason I am able to get up in the morning or my いきがい (ikigai). We live together with our three cats in a house we rent. We love playing games together, taking photos of each other, and goofing off. He is working on getting a degree in CIS, but is considering farming, and other jobs as well. We one day hope to be able to both work from home if he chooses to go down the CIS path, and have a little office together. I am very lucky to have him in my life and I couldn't ask for a better partner.

My Furbabies

Min-kei, also called "Moo" is my first cat and she is extremely curious, a trouble maker, and super cuddly. She was a bottle baby who never knew what nursing was until one of the kittens who was around her was nursing on thier mom. Moo who did not know the goal was to get milk has the habbit of attempting to nurse on me, specifically anywhere on my face. Luckily over time I have gotten her more used to nursing on a soft blanket, but she still ocassionally attempts to nurse on me. She loves tormenting bugs and is exteremly vocal, whenever she finds a toy she loves she will meow constantly to find me or my boyfriend and show off her toy.

Bee Moo


Colby, is my boyfriends cat who is very skittish but when he starts to trust you he will always cuddle with you. He is slowly getting better at being less skittish. When I first met him if you came at him too fast he would run away, and you couldn't even think about picking him up. Now he will ocassionally let us pick him up and he has become more outspoken, taking a bit more after Moo.

Colby


Jack, who is a mix of both Moo, and Colby but in the best ways. He's a curious, playful, loving cat that is at times very anxious. He used to have a problem licking all of his fur off because of his anxiety. Now that I do school fully remote Jack has started to come out of his shell, and is slowly growing back his belly fur. He loves to play with strings or anything that dangles, which can be quite dangerous when you adjust strings on hoodies or pajama pants.
